Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities include: 

  • Lead and manage Poker Room staff, ensuring consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain efficient schedules that align with labor budgets and guest volume needs.
  • Monitor and achieve departmental performance, profit, and customer service goals.
  • Assist in budget planning and ensure departmental operations align with budget expectations.
  • Promote and model superior guest service in line with company standards; proactively resolve guest concerns.
  • Manage and ensure the integrity and accountability of gaming assets, including chips, cards, and equipment.
  • Direct and oversee poker tournaments; ensure rules and procedures are followed and winners are accurately calculated.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement poker promotions and events that drive guest engagement and loyalty.
  • Work with executive leadership to develop and implement strategies that support revenue growth, cost control, and optimal game mix/layout.
  • Handle team member engagement by addressing feedback, concerns, and performance issues constructively.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance within area of authority and promptly report any potential issues.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest level of professionalism.

BRING US YOUR BEST.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or a minimum of five (5) years in a comparable poker operations leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of poker operations, games, rules, and player behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and poker operating systems.
  • Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with guests, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong business writing skills with ability to produce reports, procedures, and correspondence.
  • High level of energy, initiative, and ability to take a proactive, strategic approach to operations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, including ability to compute percentages, ratios, and interpret data visuals.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.

STARTING SALARY

$73,000 to $77,000 annually, based on experience
