Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a remote position.
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and related statutory requirements.
2–3 years of staff accountant experience in a casino finance department preferred.
Strong supervisory skills, including training, performance review, and problem resolution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and guests.
Ability to handle guest and staff interactions diplomatically and tactfully.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to learn new processes and systems quickly.
Ability to work independently, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for staff development, training programs, and workflow management.
Evaluate team members and provide constructive feedback regarding performance.
Manage employee performance, including coaching, counseling, and discipline.
Determine work procedures and expedite workflow.
Language & Communication Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong verbal and written communication in English; may be required to present information to groups of managers, employees, and guests.
Reasoning & Problem-Solving:
Apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.
Handle problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:
Must be able to qualify for any licenses or permits required by federal, state, or local regulations.
