  • Maintain control of all persons entering and exiting the facility by way of the Employee entrance. 
  • You are required to follow new PPE and safety guidance designed to safeguard you, your fellow team members, and guestsThis will include maintaining social distancing, wearing PPE as appropriate for your role and cleaning your workstation as necessary. 
  • Maintains a Communications Log of all radio traffic. 
  • Acts as a dispatcher for the Security Department. 
  • Answers and handles all incoming phone calls. 
  • Monitors Security cameras covering the Service area. 
  • Records all employee breaks. 
  • Monitor and makes proper response to alarms in the service area. 
  • Dispatches emergency response (Fire, EMS etc.) as requested. 
  • Monitor status of Generator alarms and reports problems as necessary. 
  • Acts as a liaison between the Security Department and all other departments in the Company. 
  • Dispatched all money escorts from the Podium. 
  • Maintain a log of all Money Escorts, Patron Escorts, Emergency Cash Box Exchanges, and B-Door repairs. 
  • Dispatched Officers in response to calls. 
  • Ensures all Posts are maintained. 
  • Maintain security and issues keys and radios. 
  • Maintains security and issues Vendor and visitor access badges. 
  • Communicates via voice, radio, logs, telephone with Guests and employees. 
  • Prepares reports as requested or required. 
  • Ability to work 8am - 4pm with Wed/Thurs off.  Ability to work weekends and holidays.

COMPUTER 

Must have a basic knowledge and ability to use computers and Microsoft Word and Excel. 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS  

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS  

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. 

 

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS  

Must meet licensing requirements of the West Virginia LotteryCPR certificationMust possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you resideIn addition to the pre-employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record in order to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles.
