Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The Security Agent is responsible for protecting casino assets, guests, and team members while maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment. This role supports gaming operations, responds to emergencies, and delivers professional guest service in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Safeguard assets, guests, and team members throughout the property
Escort gaming chips, tokens, cash, and other valuables to authorized personnel
Monitor end-of-day gaming drops and token counts
Prepare accurate and timely security and incident reports
Operate and monitor security control systems, including access logs, cameras, fire alarm panels, and security vehicles
Follow and demonstrate emergency and evacuation procedures
Assist Maintenance during emergency situations
Properly use security equipment such as radios, cameras and ID scanners
Enforce alcohol awareness policies and ensure guests are at least 21 years of age
Address individuals without Illinois Gaming Board identification in restricted areas
Escort individuals with admitted gaming issues to the appropriate Illinois Gaming Board representative
Identify and report suspicious or illegal activity
Maintain First Aid/AED certification and respond to medical emergencies
Complete Illness and Injury reports as required
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply them to practical situations
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs
Must possess a valid driver’s license
