Summary:
The Gram & Dun bartender is a key player in delivering a memorable dining experience at our esteemed restaurant. This role emphasizes exceptional guest service, focusing on attentiveness, professionalism, and an in-depth understanding of our culinary offerings. The bartender collaborates with the entire Gram & Dun team to ensure smooth operations and upholds the highest standards of food and alcohol service quality. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to hospitality excellence, guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.

Qualifications Requirements

Gram & Dun servers will demonstrate the ability to multitask, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, posses thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menus, including specialized items and pairing options. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Educations and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must pass a written test.
Language and Communication Skills
A Gram & Dun bartender requires strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with guests and staff, product knowledge of menu items and pairings, technical skills for POS systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Other key skills include attention to detail, patience, physical stamina, and basic math skills, while proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages being a plus.
Mathematical Skills
A Gram & Dun server needs basic arithmetic for totaling bills and making change, proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems for processing orders and payments, and skills in cash handling and currency calculation for accuracy and efficiency.
Reasoning Ability
Reasoning ability for a Gram & Dun bartender encompasses critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment to manage complex situations, anticipate guest needs, and maintain a high standard of service. This skill goes beyond simply taking orders; it involves making smart decisions quickly and effectively in a demanding, high-end dining environment
Licensing
Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state or federal law.
