Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. MAJOR JOB DUTIES:  Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Coordinate group reservation/conference process including creation of group room blocks.
  • Maintain cut-off rates and input/entry of rooming lists.
  • Communicate with group contacts and attend pre-conference meetings with sales team.
  • Must perform courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests.
  • Perform related work as requested.

EXPERIENCE:  Previous experience with booking group reservations/conferences preferred.

 

EDUCATION:    High School Diploma or GED.                        

 

SKILLS:   Excellent communication skills.  Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.  Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.  Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.  Ability to perform basic math.  Type 35 wpm.  Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests. General computer skills using Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to keyboard at 35 wpm. Knowledge of reservation procedures, LMS, SDD, Intellidesk and Delphi systems.
