Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

  • Maintain and repair furniture in a hotel / casino environment which includes refinishing and/or structural repairs.
  • Frame out walls for small construction projects happening on property.
  • Assist with the installation of drywall.
  • Perform cabinetry repairs.
  • Perform finished carpentry such as installing various types of molding and trim work.
  • Perform staining and finishing of newly installed woodwork.
  • Hanging doors and repairing doors and hardware.
  • Complete any special requests that come from other departments on property as they pertain to the carpentry trade.
  • Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
  • Design and implement plans for new installations.
  • Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
  • Install, maintain, and repair various types of flooring such as carpet, ceramic / porcelain tile, VCT, wood, laminate, and stone.
  • Maintain an inventory of materials and tools needed to perform repairs and installations of the different flooring systems.
  • Must be able to recommend and perform various preventative maintenance steps needed on the various flooring surfaces as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule outside contractors as needed.
  • This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members follow uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
  • Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.

  • GED or Hogh School Diploma
  • Must have experience in furniture repairs, furniture and woodwork re-finishing, cabinet making, framing & finishing carpentry.
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of energy and take proactive and strategic approach to issues.
  • Must have the ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have the ability to work as a team or on your own.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be highly organized and detailed.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
  • Must have three years’ experience in the carpentry trade.
  • Must be able to work alone or as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
