WE LOVE OUR WORK.

SUMMARY:  Assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner with a smile.  Handle minor slot machine malfunctions.  Hand pay jackpots.  Issue Player’s Club cards.  Perform general stock, inventory, and cleaning duties.  Work together with other slot personnel to ensure all customers are satisfied and floor coverage is satisfactory for business needs.

 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Closely monitor customer needs by visibly circulating the gaming floor and interacting with patrons.
  • Actively search out opportunities to service patrons.
  • Handle jackpots; initiate paper fills/reserve paper fills; correct minor slot machine malfunctions and performs light maintenance; reserve paper replenishments; perform main change bank duties; announce jackpots; accurately distribute change from secured wallet; respond to change lights, all in accordance with Indiana Gaming Commission rules and regulations.
  • Print replacement and issue new player’s club cards.
  • Effectively respond to manager’s requests in all areas of customer interaction and customer concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness including keeping chairs pushed in, emptying ashtrays, disposing of cups, vacuuming or wiping out coin trays, and any other light cleaning responsibilities to promote a positive player environment.
  • Accurately enter all customer information into the CDS and IGT systems.
  • Effectively respond to issues that arise. Ability to think quickly and react based on knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard company assets.
  • Provide positive communication and use ACES Service Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

QUALIFICATIONS:  21 years of age. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or G.E.D.; prefer Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 

 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
