Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Lead the creation, development, execution, and management of all property promotions and events, including slot tournaments, brand promotions, drawings, gift giveaways, property-wide events, and VIP experiences.
Develop strategic promotional plans, reinvestment strategies, and annual/monthly promotional calendars to support revenue growth and departmental KPI targets.
Prepare pro formas to determine promotional value and feasibility; perform post-event analysis to evaluate performance, profitability, and future opportunities.
Ensure all promotions and events operate in accordance with official rules, internal controls, departmental procedures, and gaming commission regulations.
Partner with Compliance to ensure timely and accurate submission of all promotional rules and documentation.
Collaborate with internal departments—such as Food & Beverage, Décor, Construction, Database Marketing, Advertising, and others—to plan, support, and execute promotional and special event needs.
Develop, maintain, and distribute internal marketing calendars and promotional communication schedules.
Oversee digital signage and electronic content planning to ensure clear, timely, and effective communication to guests and team members.
Manage all electronic content requests through the full production cycle, ensuring timelines, priorities, and deliverables are met.
Assist in the departmental budget process, provide recommendations, ensure adherence to budget initiatives, and report variances or concerns to leadership.
Staff, schedule, train, evaluate, and develop team members; recommend wage increases, promotions, disciplinary actions, and other employment decisions.
Host guests during promotions and special events, ensuring their needs are met within program guidelines and that a positive, memorable experience is delivered.
Enhance guest interactions by providing greetings, answering questions, offering directions, making announcements, and maintaining an upbeat, professional atmosphere.
Research, negotiate, and secure external vendors to support promotions and events; oversee the execution of vendor contracts and manage prize insurance needs.
Determine equipment and inventory needs for all promotions and events; ensure timely procurement, upkeep, and maintenance of necessary assets.
Monitor operational goals, track promotional performance, and ensure departmental processes support property-wide objectives.
Review media and advertising materials to ensure accurate communication of current and upcoming promotions.
Communicate effectively with leadership, departments, and team members to support operational planning and resolve guest or employee concerns.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Demonstrate and promote superior customer service and serve as a goodwill ambassador for the property and Penn Entertainment.
Efficiently organize, prioritize, and manage a high-volume workload with competing deadlines.
Assist the broader Marketing team with the execution of marketing programs as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
