Summary
The Event Operations Attendant is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of event spaces to ensure successful execution of meetings, banquets, conferences, and special events. This position plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring rooms are properly arranged, equipment is functional, and event standards are met.
Set up event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and diagrams
Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, and décor
Ensure proper placement of signage and directional materials
Monitor events to respond to layout changes or operational needs
Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, hallways, and storage areas
Assist banquet and catering teams as needed during events
Break down event spaces and return equipment to storage
Safely transport equipment using carts and dollies
Report maintenance or safety concerns immediately
Follow all safety, fire code, and company procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous banquet, event, or hospitality experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret room diagrams and event orders
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
