SUMMARY

Maintain and repair all equipment that pertains to heating and cooling all areas of existing building.  Analyze, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to building equipment working from manuals, blueprints, work orders, and instruction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast Members.  
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all HVAC equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, check equipment function and operation, and recommend required maintenance action.
• Must be licensed to handle freon and knowledgeable in all OSHA regulations and requirements for handling and disposing of same.
• Test and tear down equipment and replace defective parts and component units such as motors, compressors, belts, hoses, and controls.
• Monitor boiler room equipment.
• Install or assist in the installation or relocation of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Equivalent to at least 2 years training associated with commercial heating and cooling repairs.  4-5 years experience as HVAC repairman is preferred.  A universal refrigeration card is required.  This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and Cast Members. High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Must understand and speak the English language.  Must have a valid Illinois Drivers License.  This position is required to drive a company vehicle and adhere to the company MVR policy.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Cast Member is regularly required to talk and hear.  The Cast Member frequently is required to stand and walk.  The Cast Member is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch.  The Cast Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The Cast Member requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance.  Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally.  Must be able to lift 70+ pounds, ability to ascend and descend heights on ladders and lifts and work in a variety of harsh climates.
