- Exchanges paper currency for playing chips.
- Attends meetings, training activities, courses and all work-related activities as required.
- Check accuracy of table bank inventory, marker, and table fill and table credit documents.
- Communicate buy-ins in compliance with established Pit procedures.
- Collect and replace Casino Chips as needed.
- Promote outstanding customer and Team Member relations.
- Conducts all Casino table games according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Ensures that wagers are placed before table gaming proceeds, such as dice being tossed, cards being dealt, or roulette wheel is spun.
- Accurately maintains the handling of cards, dice, chips, money and other gaming equipment at an appropriate rate to maintain game pace. Informs players of the rules and regulations as the game progresses.
- Calculates odds to pay winning bets. Collects losing bets and pays winning bets.
- Observe the players on and around the table in order to recognize playing style.
- Notifies Management of suspicious behavior. Refers guest complaints to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by Boomtown from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employee with irregular attendance will be subject to Margaritaville disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. This includes weekends and holidays on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis.
