Responsibilities include: 

• Maintain the proper water balance of a 4o,ooo gal swimming pool and 4 hot tubs as described in the Board of Health Codes from the State of CO. and the County of Gilpin.
• Maintain all bodies of water in a healthy and sanitary condition
• Maintain all associated equipment, i.e pumps, filters, heaters in a safe and operation condition.
• Maintain logs and records of all water tests performed and of all work performed on all bodies of water.
• Maintain an inventory of all needed chemicals used for maintaining the proper balance of the water which also includes testing reagents.
• Drain and thoroughly clean hot tubs on a consistent basis as dictated by the TDS of the water
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts for pumps and filters to minimize down time.
• Be responsible for performing any in house repairs to equipment, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Keep department leadership informed of any issues that may arise with any of the bodies of water.
• Maintain the pool deck in a customer ready, welcoming condition, i.e. maintain the lighting on both the indoor and outdoor pool deck and elevator lobbies.
• Maintain the pool furniture in a safe and usable condition.
• Keep the outdoor planting beds appropriately watered.

• Must have at least 2 months experience with water testing and pool and spa maintenance.
• Must be able to attend, pass and receive their CPO certification.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Should have basic computer skills.
