- Responsible for fostering a fun environment- Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers- Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events- Serve as the on-duty EMT qualified Security Officer to provide emergency medical care such as first aid, AED, and CPR as necessary.- Acting as liaison between EMS, fire and law enforcement agencies responding to requests for assistance;- Provides comfort and reassurance to ill or injured guests, treats and administers first aid- Provide security on assigned casino or landing area: maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, watches for safety hazards- Patrol of parking lots- Provide security escorts for all monetary transfers, fills, and credit- Oversee customer boarding and disembarking: provide crowd control, direct traffic, check I.D., check for cameras, bottles and other items not allowed on Casino floor- Provide assistance to customers: give directions, call cabs, assist with car trouble, etc- Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary- Assist with slot drops- Observe hard count crew doing the slot drop and transports tokens to hard count room- Provide assistance for table drop by providing drop boxes, observing the count, and securing drop boxes in soft count room- Monitor all entry and exit from hard count, soft count, and vault, and maintains logs of these activities- Serve as dispatcher- Dispatch other officers to various assignments and maintains activity log sheets- Watch and record monitors- Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure- Testify in court on behalf of state gaming boards- Occasionally, strenuous physical activity is required- Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements- Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner- Any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel
- Performs duties to monitor the activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety rules. - Takes necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations.- Exercises good judgment to ensure the safety and security of the guests, staff, and assets within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.- This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.- Staffs various posts as assigned.- Coordinates with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.- Maintains visible presence and takes action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and organizational assets.- Monitors and controls guest access to and from the vessels or non-public areas.- Helps to arrest and/or physically restrain a resistant individual.- Removes and detains in a Security area unruly and disruptive individuals or persons engaged in criminal activity.- Other duties as assigned.
- Overseeing for the overall security of the casino and support facilities in the absence of the Director of Security- Following all Security Policies and Procedures, as they apply to the Accounting, internal Controls and Ohio Gaming Board Rules and Regulations.- Establishing priorities, plan, supervise and insure open lines of communication exist between security and other departments- Hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating security personnel - Formulating, implementing and enforcing the rules and regulations of the Security Department- Reviewing all logs, and reports before the end of their shift - Performing the functions of the Security Officer or Dispatcher, as needed
- Provide security in entertainment venues including but not limited to, Boogie Nights by maintaining low visibility, handling problem situations, watching for safety hazards, and providing assistance to medical personnel.- Provide security escorts for monetary transfers.- Oversee patron entry and exiting of venue: provide crowd control, check I.D.s, and check for items not allowed in venue.- Provide assistance to customers: give directions, etc. Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary.- Resolve conflicts between patrons in a quiet decisive manner.- Provide training to new officers and serve as a field training officer as needed.- Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations, regulatory violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.- Testify in court.- Present and provide enforcement on the floor.- Occasionally, strenuous physical activity is required.- Provide positive communication and use customer service training skills with every patron and co-worker.- Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.- Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
