- Responsible for fostering a fun environment- Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers- Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events- Serve as the on-duty EMT qualified Security Officer to provide emergency medical care such as first aid, AED, and CPR as necessary.- Acting as liaison between EMS, fire and law enforcement agencies responding to requests for assistance;- Provides comfort and reassurance to ill or injured guests, treats and administers first aid- Provide security on assigned casino or landing area: maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, watches for safety hazards- Patrol of parking lots- Provide security escorts for all monetary transfers, fills, and credit- Oversee customer boarding and disembarking: provide crowd control, direct traffic, check I.D., check for cameras, bottles and other items not allowed on Casino floor- Provide assistance to customers: give directions, call cabs, assist with car trouble, etc- Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as necessary- Assist with slot drops- Observe hard count crew doing the slot drop and transports tokens to hard count room- Provide assistance for table drop by providing drop boxes, observing the count, and securing drop boxes in soft count room- Monitor all entry and exit from hard count, soft count, and vault, and maintains logs of these activities- Serve as dispatcher- Dispatch other officers to various assignments and maintains activity log sheets- Watch and record monitors- Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure- Testify in court on behalf of state gaming boards- Occasionally, strenuous physical activity is required- Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements- Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department and company policies- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner- Any reasonable request made by your supervisor or any management personnel
- Administers First Aid treatment to sick or injured persons as well as working as member of the Security department in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals. - Performs and complete all duties necessary to comply with Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board mandated requirements, which include but are not limited to, gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, re-issuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank. - Responds to instructions from Security Podium or Fire Command regarding medical emergencies. - Monitors communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatcher. - Removes or assists in removal of victims from scene of accident or catastrophe. - Determines nature and extent of illness or injury, or magnitude of catastrophe, to establish First Aid procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance, basing decisions on statement of persons involved, examination of victims, and knowledge of emergency medical practice. - Administers prescribed First Aid treatment at site of emergency, performing such activities as application of splints, administration of oxygen, treatment of minor wounds or abrasions, or administration of artificial resuscitation.- Communicates with arriving medical personal regarding further treatment and assist with the removal of victims. - Assists arriving medical personal to obtain and record information related to victims' vital statistics and circumstances of emergency. - Maintains medical and communications equipment and replenish First Aid equipment and supplies. - Assists in controlling crowds, protecting valuables, or performing other duties at scene of catastrophe. Prepares to respond to medical emergencies while performing the following essential duties and responsibilities: - Through alertness, diligence, specific procedures, and proactive attention to potential danger and security risks, the Security Officer shall protect our guests, our property, and our staff from harm or loss. - Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of the facility, as directed; or stand watch, as directed, at an assigned Security post, in order to oversee the comfort, safety, and security of our guests. - Examines various points of entry to determine that they are secure. - Conducts inspections, in accordance with procedures, to ensure equipment and facilities are in a safe condition. - Watches for and conducts timely reporting of irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked to the appropriate authority. - Guards against theft of company property. - Greets all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.- Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic to maintain orderly flow as directed. - With care and professionalism, ensure compliance of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course’s responsibility to prevent over-consumption of alcoholic beverages.
As a Security Officer: Grave you will: Shift: 9:45pm to 6:15amWages:$15.50hr--- $16.50hr (with Experience)- Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.- Must respond to all medical request as either the primary or the secondary responder.- Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.- Assist guest and employees on directions and proper procedures.- Ability to check identification to ensue a guest is over the age of 21.- Performs fills, credir, exchanges and marker transfers for departments as needed.- Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when neccessary.- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.- Monitor and respond to alarms. Physical Demands - This postions will require you to be standing and actively moving duration of your shift. In this role, you can expect to use your hands, walk, and be physically active throughout your shift. You will be required to help assist guest and their needs. Our security team must be able to life and/or move up to 40 pounds.
