General Accountabilities:  - Responsible for physical and video surveillance of the activities of customers and employees in all gaming and money handling areas.  - Observes and reports all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property. - Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions; monitors slot equipment of SiS System to provide security for company assets and funds. - Maintains video surveillance of the entire casino (e.g., Gaming Floor, Race/Sports Book, Food and Beverage outlets, cashiers, Count Rooms, parking lots, hotel/casino complex, etc.); records any irregular activity as required. - Learns all games in use at the property, and all procedures and cheating indicators of those games; learns and uses various card count systems. 

Responsible for successful completion of the Surveillance Operator training program. Training will include surveillance instruction on detecting illegal activity or violations of company and surveillance policy and procedures. Training will also include instruction of compliance requirements for Federal, State and local gaming laws and regulations.   Essential Functions - Observe activity on video monitor and detect illegal activity- Change tapes in VCR- Maintain accurate and complete logs- Make clear and usable video tapes- Testify in court- Enforce all gaming laws and regulations- Enforce all company policies and procedures- Other job related duties as assigned

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic surveillance equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.- Replace/repair parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions.- May occasionally act as a specialist in either mechanical or electronic areas.- May be given occasional assignments to provide training to lesser experienced technicians or trainees.- Maintain skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions.- inspect and perform general and preventive maintenance of surveillance equipment and installation.- Assist with the planning and placement of new camera and equipment.- install new cameras and surveillance equipment as directed.

HCPN's surveillance department employees shall be independent of all other departments. - The Surveillance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of the surveillance system equipment used by the surveillance department.  - The employee performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic, electrical and mechanical components of the surveillance system in a professional manner  order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, and workforce strength and compliance goals.  - Provides encouragement, sets high expectations, and sets proud and positive examples necessary to ensure a fun, exciting and professional working environment for our staff and a pleasant and entertaining experience for our guest.
