SUMMARYThis position will be responsible for preparing, displaying, selling and serving food products at the Parisi Cafe. This is a non-supervisory position. Sunday Monday 6a-330pThursday Friday 3p-1030p ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide stellar customer service to internal and external customers including participation in and promotion of customer service programs to continuously improve customer service.- Prepare, display, sell and serve food products to customers.- Must be able to handle, pour and prepare alcoholic beverages- Follow appropriate food handling procedures to ensure safe, quality products.- Complete sales to customers including taking money, counting back the appropriate amount of change, correctly processing and validating comps, and appropriate operation of cash register or point of sale system.- Complete deposits at the end of each shift.- Perform tasks to ensure an attractive and safe physical appearance of working areas including cleaning and sanitizing counters, display cases, refrigeration units, and beverage machines.- Ensure supplies are stocked as needed.- Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.- Compile information, complete and submit reports as needed.- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform duties as trained through the Parisi Café Training program- Adhere to all gaming laws and regulations.- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter. - Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.- Any reasonably requested job duty needed to promote productivity in the efficient administration of business, or any reasonable request made by your supervisor or management personnel. 

- Prepares and serves food to customers.- Sells non-food merchandise and maintains display. - Responsible for the stocking of all products, as needed, during shift and at end of shift. - Operates cash register: takes money or other tenders from customers and counts back appropriate change. Counts money in register before and after each shift and properly records closing transactions. - Cleans and sanitizes working/ kitchen areas in outlets, both behind the line and in dining area. - Assures that tables are bussed and maintains dining area by returning tables and chairs to proper locations, as needed. - Assures that empty containers and rolling trash/cardboard dumpsters are taken to receiving dock, as needed.  Monitors disposal of garbage and cardboard to respective dumpster at dock.- Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.- Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff. - Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

- Ensures adequate supply of stock and glasses for the bar.  - Assists with beverage deliveries and maintains cleanliness of the bar area.  - This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members. - Removes the trash and cleans bars; mops and sweeps the storeroom and walk-in coolers.  - Removes all empty CO2 tanks, beer kegs, and soda boxes to proper locations; responsible for deep cleaning of bars on the barge and land. - Maintains clean, working bars in accordance with illinois Liquor Commission and Health Department standards. - Stocks bars, responds to bartender requests for stock, and checks bar to monitor stock levels. - Retrieves bar supplies from the storage area and stocks and rotates the bar as required. - Washes the glasses and ensures the ice bin is filled. - Assists the bartenders. - Provides friendly, quick, professional service to guests and co-workers. - Changes CO2 tanks, beer kegs, and soda boxes. - Assists with the delivery of the stock. - Cleans and maintains break rooms (boat porters). - Maintains and cleans break room soda machine. - Assists cocktail servers on glass removal. - Notifies managers of equipment problems. - Follows safety rules. - Other duties as assigned.

- Mixes alcoholic drinks according to the recipe standard of Margaritaville. - interacts with beverage servers and guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. - Rings all drinks into P.O.S. system. - Checks liquor cabinets and cooler for stock pars. Accurately fills out par lists for supervisors’ input. - Keeps bar and surrounding work area clean, organized, well-stocked, and presentable. - Acts as an ambassador to the Resort through engaging and gregarious personality. - interacts with employees and guests in professional and consistent manner to solicit feedback on operations and execution of service delivery. - Completes related job duties assigned by Supervisor. - Ensures that outlet is maintained and clean during all periods of operation.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:  Duties include, but are not limited to the following: - Follow proper register transaction procedures.- Adhere to the proper par stock procedures.- Have a complete understanding of all applicable laws and regulations concerning service of alcoholic beverages (as directed by Beverage Department).- Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area.- Monitor and train novice bartenders as dictated by management.- Remain up-to-date on Hotel current events and the hours of operation of all food and beverage outlets.- Must have the ability to pour up to 240 drinks per hour on a consistent basis.- Must have ability to read and follow specialty drink recipes as prepared by Beverage Manager.- Responsible for garnishing all cocktails from the bar area.- Maintain consistent and appropriate accountability for all moneys at the bar.- Responsible for cash banks and slot banks, exceeding $1,000.00.
