- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Provides security and protection for guests and company assets. - Performs the duties and responsibilities associated with the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission, ensuring compliance and minimizing violations. - Continuously and diligently monitors racing areas on property. - Ensures employees and others comply with PHRC policies and procedures; reports and documents all incidents. - Administers First Aid and CPR within acquired training and ability, in accordance with established procedures. - Reports unsafe conditions and/or incidents observed. - Responds to disturbances and emergency alarms. - Checks in all vehicles at the stable gate entrance. - Provides security escort services to employees and guests when requested. - Directs traffic and controls parking, when required. - Assists local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and emergency services, when required. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
- Performs duties to monitor the activities of the staff and guests to ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety rules. - Takes necessary steps to ensure the safety and security of operations.- Exercises good judgment to ensure the safety and security of the guests, staff, and assets within the limits of standard or accepted policies and procedures.- This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.- Staffs various posts as assigned.- Coordinates with Surveillance on monitoring critical areas.- Maintains visible presence and takes action to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and organizational assets.- Monitors and controls guest access to and from the vessels or non-public areas.- Helps to arrest and/or physically restrain a resistant individual.- Removes and detains in a Security area unruly and disruptive individuals or persons engaged in criminal activity.- Other duties as assigned.
