The surveillance agent conducts clandestine surveillance throughout the casino property for the protection of company assets utilizing video and audio capabilities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Monitor casino guests and team members throughout the property- Utilize computer based software to generate documents- Observe and record table games and electronic gaming devices to ensure integrity on the games- Observe and record count room activities such as table game drops, bill validator drops in protection of company assets until all are accurately and properly accounted for- Observe and record cage areas for proper redemption and payout of chips, tickets and other casino related instruments used on a daily basis- Review and report recorded incidents to the requestor- Report violations of company policy, procedure, or internal controls- Receive testing on a quarterly basis- Reach specific performance goals at one year and maintain- Take photographs for purpose of proper documentation of incidents and events- Report illegal or unusual activities to appropriate members of management- Be knowledgeable of Illinois Gaming Board regulations and company internal controls
- Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property- Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions- Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations- Learns and uses two card count system- Learns all games in use and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games- Writes proper reports as needed in a timely manner- Responds to surveillance supervision and gaming control requests- Responds to requests of all other departments when necessary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Protect company assets by observing the activities of employees and customers via surveillance cameras.- Review surveillance coverage on cases of patron/internal control disputes.- Complete daily activity report and note any pertinent facts. - Monitor recording equipment, and check equipment operation. - Report all observed violations of gaming regulations and procedures to appropriate authority in order to adhere to company reporting requirements.- Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.- Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies. - Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.- Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
Uses electronic monitoring systems to maintain close surveillance on all casino games and other areas. Maintain close surveillance on all casino table games, slots, and other activities via electronic monitoring systems, observing both guest and employee activity to maintain integrity of games and company assets. Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document, and report illegal and unusual activities occurring in the casino slot area, slot booths, cage areas, count rooms, table games and interrogation room. Report all illegal and unusual activities to the appropriate authorities. Support and maintain HOLLYWOOD courtesy guidelines. Promote outstanding guest relations. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in a variety of investigations both independently and as part of a collaborative effort.- Operate CCTV and other data systems.- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.- Take proactive and strategic approaches to handle situations that arise.- This position will require you to be in a confined room for extended periods of time.
- Observe the facility via the CCTV system in a professional manner in order to assist in reaching profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals. - HCPN's Surveillance department employees shall be independent of all other departments. - A present or former Surveillance department employee may not accept employment as a key employee or gaming employee with the same licensee for whom he/she was previously employed as a Surveillance department employee unless 1 year has passed since the former Surveillance department employee worked in the Surveillance department. The present or former Surveillance department employee may file a written petition requesting the Board to waive this restriction and permit the employment of a present or former Surveillance department employee in a particular position. The Board may grant or deny the waiver upon consideration of the following factors: - Whether the former Surveillance department employee will be employed in a department or area of operation that the Surveillance department monitors. - Whether the surveillance and security systems of HCPN will be jeopardized or compromised by the employment of the former Surveillance department employee in the particular position. - Whether the former Surveillance department employee's knowledge of the procedures of the Surveillance department would facilitate the commission by any person of irregularities or illegal acts or the concealment of any actions or errors. - The clandestine monitoring of the gaming conducted at the slot machines. - The clandestine monitoring of the operations conducted at and in the Cashiers' Cage and any satellite cage. - The clandestine monitoring of the operations conducted at automated bill breaker machines, automated gaming voucher and coupon redemption machines, automated jackpot payout machines, and automated teller machines. - The clandestine monitoring of the count processes conducted in the Count Room. - The clandestine monitoring of the movement of cash and slot cash storage boxes. - The clandestine monitoring of the entrances and exits, the Gaming Floor, and the Count Room. - The clandestine monitoring of the gaming conducted at the table games. - The clandestine surveillance of the operation of any satellite cage or Poker Room Cage. - The clandestine surveillance of the storage areas used for the storage of chips, plaques, cards, dice, Sic Bo shakers, Pai Gow tiles, and other equipment used to conduct table games. - The video recording of movements of table games boxes. - Recording questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence in court. - Preparation of daily logs and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate. - When assigned to the CCTV monitoring room, “patrol” the facility through the use of pan, tilt, and zoom cameras and record all pertinent activity on the digital recording system. - Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. - Ensure that proper security and chain of custody is maintained on all departmental evidence. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Supervisor.

Though shifts are generally stable, other shift assignments may occur to better meet the needs of the department or the property.- Other duties, as assigned.

- Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of L’auberge property. - Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions; monitors slot equipment of SiS System to provide security for company assets and funds. - Maintains video surveillance of the entire casino, i.e., table games, slots, keno, race & sports book, food and beverage outlets, parking lot, parking garages, hotel/casino complex, outbuildings and shops. - Video records gaming and security-related incidents within the realm of monitor room video recording and surveillance capabilities. - Participates in court actions relating to gaming violations. - Learns and uses various card count systems. - Learns all games in use at L’auberge and all procedures and cheating indicators of such games.
- Coordinates with supervisor to record questionable activity for review and possible use as evidence. Conducts these observations of the gaming and other areas as directed.- Prepares logs of all pertinent activity and equipment checks.- When assigned to the CCTV monitoring room, “patrols” the facility through the use of pan, tilt and zoom cameras and records all pertinent activity on a daily log. - Monitors the facility entrances, validation cashier’s cage, money vaults, concessions areas, mutuel teller areas, all money handling activities, and count rooms. Observes the conduct of the employees and customers. - Reviews and plays back videos to assist other departments in determining facts about a situation or issue.- Operates camera controls, digital recorders, monitors, audio recorders and reset alarms.- Identifies and responds to different alarm sounds, i.e. panic, fire and door. - Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.- Ensures that behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards.- Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff. - Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.- Participates in meetings and trainings as required.- Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.- Performs other duties as may be assigned by department and/or company management.

Maintain a log of events as they occur and complete incident reports as circumstances dictate - Ensure monitoring of drops, soft count, and transfers of funds/assets - The clandestine monitoring of the gaming conducted at the slot machines - The clandestine monitoring of the operations conducted at an in the cashier's cage and any satellite cage - The clandestine monitoring of the operations conducted at automated bill breaker machines, automated gaming voucher and coupon redemtion machines, automated jackpot payout machines and automated teller machines. - The clandestine monitoring of the count process conducted in the count room - The clandestine monitoring of the entrances and exits to the licensed facility, the gaming floor and the count room - The clandestine monitoring of the gaming conducted at the table games - The clandestine surveillance of the oepration of any satellite cage or Poker room cage - The clandestine surveillance of the storge areas used for the storage of chips, plaques, cards, dice, Sic Bo shakers, Pai Gow tiles and other equipment used to conduct table games - The video recording of movements of table games boxes - Train and evaluate Surveillance Agents - Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations must work and cooperate with PGCB, and comply with their requests - Ensure that proper security and chain of custody is maintained on all departmenta evidence - Perform other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Director
