- Directs the work of the surveillance officers on assigned shift to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.- Understands department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget to achieve effective supervision of department.- Assists in training and development of surveillance officers ensure superior customer service standards are achieved.- Ensures that all company and departmental procedures are followed; assists various local, state, and federal authorities in various activities and investigations to ensure that procedures and laws are observed.- Participates in any court actions relating to gaming violations in order to represent facts as obtained by department.- Maintains daily log and reports to ensure that adequate and accurate information on surveillance activities are kept for future access.- Understands various card counting systems including cheating methods of all games and equipment in a casino environment.- Reports all observed violations of gaming regulations and procedures to appropriate authority in order to adhere to company reporting requirements and the Gaming and Racing Commission.- Ensures that proper procedures for Games, Slots, Cashiers, drops, etc. are implemented and maintained.- Responds to surveillance supervision and gaming regulators requests and other departments requests when necessary.- Maintains a high level of awareness as to criminal and civil law as it pertains to the company.
1. Deliver internal and external guest service the Pinnacle Way by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile & greet the guest. Be friendly, polite & use courteous language. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable service; and then some! Always find solutions to guests’ problems. Use the guest’s name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).2. Observes and reports any and all gaming violations and/or thefts of L’auberge’s property.3. Assist Supervisor in training, developing, monitoring and leading personnel in such a manner to maintain a positive employee relations culture.4. Motivate and supervise staff in Supervisor’s absence in order to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established departmental and guest service objectives.5. Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions; monitors slot equipment of SIS System to provide security for company assets and funds.6. Maintains video surveillance of the entire casino, i.e., table games, slots, keno, race & sports book, food and beverage outlets, parking lot, parking garages, hotel/casino complex, outbuildings and shops.7. Video records gaming and security-related incidents within the realm of monitor room video recording and surveillance capabilities.8. Participate in any court actions relating to gaming violations at L’auberge in order to represent facts as obtained by department.9. Learns and uses various card count systems.10. Learns all games in use at L’auberge and all procedures and cheating indicators of such game
