- Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests.- Efficiently and accurately processes all pari-mutuel wages in the tote system. - Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations.- Write Sports tickets in an accurate and timely manner.- Create and enter player tracking cards.- Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs.- Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary.- Exchanges cash and coins in accordance with established procedures.- Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures.- Assists guests with credit applications.- Verifies credit approval for casino departments.- Performs credit card cash advances.- Issues and receives payments.- Cash personal, travelers, and payroll checks in compliance with approved procedures.- Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the draw amount.- Completes a blind drop on all revenues collected during the shift. - Operates assigned bank or window according to department and regulatory guidelines. - Completes all required shift paperwork according to internal control standards. - Records any applicable cash transactions that are required by Federal Law - Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties.- Provides information and assistance to customers in a friendly, courteous manner to ensure the delivery of guest service.
